ArtFest at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre

This annual festival brings families and cultural enthusiasts together with budding and professional artists for an event that showcases a diverse array of local and regional artistic talent. Local music, dance and visual arts studios offer stunning performances by some of the area’s most talented individuals and groups. This year performers include The Dance Arts Studio, Mini Mime - Team Backpack Journalist, Holy City Hotfoot, Unified Hip Hop, Deakins Suzuki Strings, Palmetto Twirlers, LowCo Suzuki Guitar, Bach to Rock, Coastal Elite Dance, Sweet Tea Quartet of Sweet Adelines International + Charleston Dance Works. ArtFest will also feature a virtual Easter Egg Hunt brought to you by On Purpose Adventures. After enjoying the performances, guests can stroll through the Art Walk, featuring work from local artists including The Saltwater Cowboy, Joe Benton Photographic Art, My Town Art by Patrick Reid O’Brien, Gas Lamp Candle Company, Palmetto Pottery, Lowcountry Lit, Tweak of Nature, Salty Mermaid Productions, Austin's Sweetgrass Baskets and On The Half Shell. Plus, a Spin Art Bike with Good Clean Fun, Balloon Animal Making Classes, Sweet Grass demonstrations, caricatures, baton twirler, arts & crafts, a Viking Axe throw game and more! Food and snacks will be available for purchase from Madrigals Tacos & Latin Cuisine, New Dog Hot Dogs, Holy City Homemade Italian Ice, The Ice Cream Team, Holy City Popcorn and Kona Ice. All activities and performances are free of charge. The event is for residents and visitors of all ages, from young parents and children through seniors.
