Description
Jim Westerhold is the General Manager of Boone Hall Plantation & Farms since May 2020.
Before joining Boone Hall, Jim was the Executive Director of the North American Wildlife
Technology and served as the Chair of the Wildlife Department at Horry Georgetown Technical
College. He was also a Wildlife Biologist with the SC Department of Natural Resources and has
managed other plantations in the Lowcountry.
Jim grew up on a farm and spent several months in the Bering Sea as a fisherman! A graduate
of Clemson University with a Master’s Degree in Wildlife, Jim and his wife of over 20 years,
Missy, and daughter Lily, live in Mount Pleasant and are happy to be a part of the Boone Hall
Plantation family!
